Specialized in what others overlook. Open to everyone.
Selene Therapy & Wellness has a specific clinical focus: the mental health concerns most often minimized, misdiagnosed, or misunderstood. ADHD in adults, particularly in women who were never diagnosed. The mental health impact of perimenopause, which is real, neurological, and routinely dismissed. The anxiety and burnout that builds quietly over years.
This practice is primarily but not exclusively focused on women's mental health. Adults of all genders are welcome. If you are looking for a therapist with advanced expertise in the experiences most often overlooked, this practice may be what you have been looking for.
About this practice

What Brings People Here
How I can help
Most people arrive carrying more than one thing at once. These are the areas where this practice has the deepest expertise and the broadest welcome.

ADHD in Adults
Late diagnosis, masking, emotional regulation, and the exhaustion of managing a brain no one helped you understand.

Burnout & Exhaustion
Over-functioning, people-pleasing, guilt around rest, and rebuilding capacity that was spent long before you noticed.

Perimenopause & Menopause
The mental health impact of hormonal change including the ADHD-perimenopause intersection most providers miss.

Sleep & Insomnia
CBTi based support, the evidence based gold standard, with stronger long-term outcomes than sleep medication.

Anxiety & Chronic Stress
Not just worry, the hum of a nervous system that cannot rest, and the toll of managing everything while appearing fine.

Life Transitions & General Support
Anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, parenting, identity shifts, and EAP clients. You are welcome here too.
Why this practice
There are a lot of therapists.
Here is what makes this different.
I specialize in what is most often missed.
ADHD in adults, especially in women who masked for decades, and the mental health changes of perimenopause are both dramatically underserved. My ADHD-CCSP and MMHCP certifications represent advanced clinical training in exactly these areas.
01
I have lived experience alongside clinical training.
I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. I understand the validation, the grief, the clarity, and the strange work of looking back at your history through a new lens. That perspective deepens my clinical work.
02
Therapy here is grounded in real life.
Sessions are practical, collaborative, and paced to your actual capacity, not an idealized version of what you could manage if everything else were easier. I pay attention to what is actually happening.
03
You will never be told to just try harder.
Many of the people I work with have already been trying harder for years. The problem was never effort. I understand how ADHD, hormonal changes, and chronic stress affect the nervous system and I work from that understanding.
04
Advanced expertise in the areas that matter most.

Common Questions
No. Many people I work with do not have a formal ADHD diagnosis, or are in the process of getting one. If the experiences resonate, therapy can be useful regardless of whether a diagnosis is in place.
The first session is 50 minutes. We spend time understanding what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and what has and has not worked for you before. There is no pressure to arrive with a clearly defined goal.
Yes, I do provide direct billing for many insurance providers and third-party programs.
โ
A limited number of reduced fee spots are also available. If this is something you require, please ask when you reach out.
Yes. This practice has a primary focus on women's mental health, but adults of all genders are welcome, particularly those navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, sleep difficulties, and life transitions.
Sessions take place by secure video. You will receive a link before each appointment. You need a private space and a reliable internet connection, that is all.
