"I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. That experience changed everything about how I understand clients, and myself."

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience providing virtual therapy for adults across Canada.

I hold advanced certifications in adult ADHD (ADHD-CCSP) and menopause mental health (MMHCP), specialized CBTi training, and a Level 2 certificate in CBT for Reproductive Mental Health — covering hormonal mental health across the lifespan, including PMDD and perinatal mood.

I work with people navigating ADHD, perimenopause, anxiety, burnout, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. Most of the clients I work with are navigating several of these things at once, because that is usually how it works.

My approach is warm, practical, and genuinely conversational. I pay attention to what is actually happening in your life, ask specific questions, and work collaboratively. Therapy with me tends to feel like a real conversation and many clients are surprised by how much can shift through that. The work is impactful but often subtle.

A note on lived experience: I was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood. I know what it is like to look back at a lifetime of coping strategies and understand them differently. To recognize that what felt like personal failure was something else entirely. That does not replace my training, it deepens it.

Why Selene?

Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon and associated with cycles, reflection, and steady presence through shifting seasons. That felt right for a practice grounded in the understanding that mental health is not static. There are times of clarity and times of strain. Times when familiar ways of coping stop feeling like enough.

The moon does not only belong to one kind of person. It rises for everyone. So does this practice; welcoming adults of all genders and backgrounds, whether you arrive with a diagnosis, a vague sense that something needs to shift, or anything in between.
