Midlife Mental Health

Midlife often brings a unique mix of challenges and transitions. Hormonal changes, shifting roles, caregiving, career pressures, and evolving identity can all impact mood, sleep, energy, and overall wellbeing. Thoughtful, informed mental health support during this stage can help people better understand what they’re experiencing and navigate midlife with greater clarity and confidence.

(MMHCP)

The Menopause Mental Health Care Practitioner (MMHCP) certification provides specialized training in the mental health impacts of perimenopause and menopause.

This training focuses on understanding the biological, emotional, and life changes that occur during the menopause transition, including how hormonal shifts can influence mood, sleep, cognition, and overall wellbeing.

It helps me provide more informed, supportive care for those navigating this stage of life.

How I Can Help

My work focuses on helping individuals better understand the changes they are experiencing and develop practical strategies to support mental health during midlife.

In our work together, we may focus on:

  • Understanding the emotional and cognitive impacts of perimenopause and menopause

  • Managing anxiety, overwhelm, and mood changes

  • Improving sleep and stress regulation

  • Navigating identity shifts and life transitions

  • Addressing burnout and emotional exhaustion

  • Supporting ADHD-related challenges with focus, organization, and emotional regulation

  • Developing sustainable coping strategies that work for this stage of life

My goal is to provide a space where you can explore what you're experiencing without judgment, while gaining tools and insight that support long-term wellbeing.
